If you're new to digital painting and you'd like to learn, join my class here! :D

(I'm sure there are other ways of doing this, but this is just how I set up my drawings to color in Photoshop) :D

---

So I didn't figure out how to do this until I was about a year or so into digital painting. :XD: So I wanted to make this for anyone who may not know. ;)

Sometimes I make a traditional, pencil sketch and I want to color it on the computer. So what I do is I scan in my drawing and I open it up in Photoshop CS3 and I duplicate the layer. Then I delete my starting layer and I set the new layer to "Multiply." Then I add a new layer and put it under my lineart.
Then my drawings are ready for coloring.

For my drawings I use Photoshop CS3, Easy Paint Tool SAI, and my Wacom Intuos 3, but this would probably work in other programs too.
