Online Art Classes

Hey everyone! 

If you've been watching me for a while, you probably know by now I teach on Skillshare and have my classes available on Gumroad as well. But for those who don't know, I love art and I love sharing what I've learned with art lovers like me! Drawing has been my passion since I was a little kid. I remember struggling with my art as a beginner and telling my mom, "When I get this, I'm going to teach everyone how to do it!" The struggle was real! lol So I always knew I wanted to teach one day to help others through their art struggles too. 

Skillshare and Gumroad have been the perfect ways to share what I know, (and what I'm still learning!), about art. :D

Skillshare is an awesome community. It's one of my favorite places to land on the internet. It's like the Netflix of learning. :) (Smile) When you join and become a premium member on Skillshare, you get instant access to all 16,000+ classes on the platform, including all of mine! :) (Smile) You have access as long as you are a premium member! The class format is also fun because you get to engage with classmates and easily get one on one feedback with fellow students and me.

If you've ever joined in one of my Skillshare classes, now is the time to make your class project! :D

Let’s make the month of April a month of CREATIVITY!

In the hopes of fostering creativity, I’m hosting a channel wide raffle! The winner will be chosen at random and will win a $100 Amazon gift card! (Imagine all the art supplies you could buy.. lol)

So how do you enter?

All you have to do is watch any of my classes and then create one (or two, or all) of the class projects! 

Here's a look at the projects you can make:

Basically, if you make and upload 1 of the projects above, that's 1 chance to win. If you make all 7 projects above, that's 7 chances to win! :D You'll be automatically entered when you upload a project.

If you already have a project going in one of my classes, you can still enter! You just have to add on another piece to your current project sometime this month. (& I'll know if it's new or not. ;))

Now, the chance to win $100 is cool, but making these projects will also level up your skills and will prepare you for the classes I have in store this year. Some of them being more intermediate/advanced. :) I say it all the time, but the key to improving in art, I believe, is learning and practicing, learning and practicing... repeat! The classes will give you the information, but then it's up to you to put that information into action with practice. And the class projects are the perfect way to do just that.

Character Drawing Class!

Hey everyone! I'm so excited to announce that my new drawing course is finally here! :) Spend your Saturday sketching something fun in Design a Female Character: Sketching Portraits with Pencils :D 

I started drawing these girly characters back in 2010 and I've been drawing them ever since. Over time, my style has developed and changed, but these little characters have always been some of my favorite subjects to draw. I hope you will find character drawing as enjoyable as I do!
