lol well here is my progression from when I was 14 to now as an 18 year old. I used a reference of Daniel Radcliffe for both
 2004 drawing- [link] Regular pencils on sketchbook paper 2009 drawing- [link] mechanical pencils on vellum paper In the time between 2004 and 2009 I would say I've improved on shading...learning where the highlights and shadows are and how they play on the face. I've learned about proportions of the face as well and how to get a likeness of a person in a drawing. I learned that contrast can really improve a drawing. I also learned that having good materials is key. I discovered that although smooth paper may work well for most artists, vellum works best for me.
